Terms of Use

The rules for using this website, the player app, and our leagues and tournaments. Effective October 12, 2026.

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Dean Vending Company (“Dean Vending,” “we,” “us”). By using this website, creating a player account, or taking part in one of our leagues or tournaments, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the app.

2. Business agreements come first

If you are a venue, location partner or business customer, your signed agreement with us governs our relationship. Nothing on this website — including descriptions of equipment, services, revenue arrangements or programs — modifies, replaces or adds to a written contract between us. Where these terms and a signed agreement conflict, the signed agreement controls.

3. Who may use the site and app

You must be old enough to form a binding contract to use the player app. Leagues and tournaments are played at independent venues that set their own age and entry requirements; many are licensed establishments admitting only patrons 21 and over. Meeting those requirements is your responsibility and the venue’s decision, not ours.

4. Your account

Give accurate information when you register and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential — tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. One account per person. We may suspend or close an account that is inactive, duplicated, or used in breach of these terms.

5. Leagues, tournaments and play

  • Venue rules apply. Play happens at independently owned and operated venues. Their rules, hours, house policies and decisions about admission are theirs, and we do not control them.
  • Assumption of risk. Darts, pool and similar activities involve physical activity and equipment and carry inherent risks. You take part voluntarily and accept those risks, and you are responsible for playing safely and following venue and league rules.
  • League rules and officials. Play is subject to the published rules of the league or tournament. League officials decide eligibility, scoring disputes, standings and discipline, and those decisions are final.
  • Schedules change. Schedules, divisions, venues, formats and prize structures can change, and events can be postponed or cancelled — sometimes for reasons outside our control.
  • Entry fees. Fees, payment deadlines and any refund terms are stated at registration for each league or tournament, and those stated terms govern. Entry fees are generally non-refundable once play has begun or after a stated cutoff.

6. Statistics and standings

Statistics, standings and schedules shown here come from our league management system and from scoresheets submitted during play. We publish them as a service to players and we work to keep them accurate, but they may contain errors, omissions or delays and are provided without warranty of accuracy. The official record of a season is the one maintained by the league officials. Do not rely on anything shown here for wagering.

7. Sub Finder

The Sub Finder is an introduction service only. It lets a captain ask for a substitute and lets players volunteer. We do not screen, vet, endorse or run background checks on players, captains or teams, we do not verify eligibility for a given league or venue, and we are not a party to any arrangement you make through it. You are responsible for your own interactions and for meeting people in a public venue and using ordinary caution. Confirm with your league officials that a substitute is eligible before they play.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use this website or the app to: break the law; harass, threaten or impersonate anyone; post false or misleading information; interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; scrape, harvest or bulk-collect information (including player names or contact details); or use our forms or notifications to send unsolicited or commercial messages. We may remove content and suspend access for any of these.

9. Communications

When you create an account or ask for updates, you agree that we may send you emails relating to your account, your leagues, and events. You can unsubscribe from list emails and switch off Sub Finder notifications in your profile; we may still send you necessary messages about your account or your registration.

10. Our content

The content on this website — text, images, logos, layout and the compiled league information — belongs to us or our licensors. You may use the site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, republish or use our content or branding commercially without our written permission.

11. Other sites and services

We link to third-party sites and use third-party services for payments, authentication, email and league management. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, practices or availability. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

12. Availability and disclaimer

The website and the player app are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of them at any time.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dean Vending Company and its owners, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the website, the player app, the Sub Finder, or participation in a league or tournament. Our total liability for any claim relating to them will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these limitations, and in that case they apply only to the extent permitted.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Dean Vending Company harmless from claims, damages and reasonable expenses arising out of your use of the website or app, your conduct at a venue or event, or your breach of these terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree that any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, and consent to their jurisdiction.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above and post the revised version here; continuing to use the site or app after that means you accept the change.
